HOLY WEEK SCHEDULE

Wednesday – Chrism Mass at the Basilica Cathedral in St. Augustine, 11:00 a.m., all the priests of the Diocese renew their vows with the Bishop. 

Oils to be used in the sacraments are blessed for all the parishes.

 Wednesday --  Living Stations of the Cross

presented by the Holy Family Youth Group, 7:00 p.m.

 

Holy Thursday – Mass of the Lord’s Supper, 7:00 p.m.

(No other Masses permitted on this day.)

At the Last Supper, on the night when He was betrayed, our Savior instituted the Eucharistic Sacrifice of His sacred body and blood.

Good Friday – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion – 6:30 p.m.

According to the Church’s ancient tradition, Mass is not celebrated today. 

The Passion consists of three parts:

Liturgy of the Word, Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion.

 (NO Confessions on Holy Saturday)

Saturday evening Easter Vigil Service 7:30 p.m.

 NO 5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass Today.

Easter Sunday

8:30 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
